Personal Summary:
As a knowledgeable and enthusiastic paediatric nurse with hands on experience
of working with children from various ages and conditions from chronic to
acute conditions. I have got experience in providing high quality patient
centred care.I am able to follow the trust rules effectively and also provide
treatment. I am capable of thinking and acting quickly in stressful, emergency
situations. I can provide physical, emotional and mental well-being support to
the patients and their families. I am interested in working with children 0-18 in
the hospital setting as I am qualified children's nurse. I have worked as a student
nurse the last three years with children all around Manchester area either

critical care setting such as PICU, PHDU, A&E, NEONALTAL, and ward
setting such as neurology, neuro surgical, orthopaedic, ENT, renal unit,

Royal Brompton hospital rose ward: This is speciality ward for cardiology.
St George hospital Frederic Hewitt: This is general paediatric inpatient ward),
Jungle ward:(for children having treatments or procedures and going home on
the same day). Pinckney ward:(for children with Oncology, Haematology and
Infectious Diseases. Ocean ward: (for children with neurological conditions)
Croydon university hospital Rupert Bear ward: This is specific paediatric
unit, general, medical ward.
Chasefarm hospital kingfisher ward: This is children’s inpatient ward; it has
ENT speciality, also assessment and observation area (paediatric assessment
unit).
Princess royal hospital: This is paediatric general medical ward.
Rullion: May 2012-august 2012:
Support worker: I support clients in their own homes (adult services).
Duties: support clients with physical and mental disabilities as well as learning
difficulties with feeding, washing and giving medications. I also do sleepover
sometimes if it is needed.

Voluntary: as play specialist on paediatric ward in stepping hill hospital 2008.

• Play with children and distract them whilst treatment as play is

I was responsible for assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient’s
care. Helpchildren to recover from their illness.
