To whom it may concern:
This letter is to express my interest in the welding field. Based on my skills in stick
welding, I’m not just 6G ASME Certified. I am awesomely confident at welding
pipe. I can do code quality weld’s repeatedly with either hand, using a mirror if
needed.
I have attended North American Trade School for welding in Baltimore, MD. I held
a 4.0 GPA average. While there I was certified for. AWS D1.1 Shielded Metal Arc
Welding. Test was done by Earl Beck Accreted Technologies Learning Center of
Maryland on 07-07-2011.
I have furthered my education with Earl Beck Gases and Technologies Learning
Center through Ann Arundel Community College and maintained a 4.40 average.
While attending the program I certified for, ASME IX 6G Boilers and Pressure
Vessel Certification for Pipe welding. That test was passed on 03-23-12. I then
completed my AWS D1.5 for bridges with a 5/32 rod (Unlimited Thickness). Test
was passed on 04-24-12. I have also completed Intermediate TIG for AWS D17.1
aerospace code for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Pass test on 8-1-2012.
My instructor has said that I was a natural born pipe welder. I will accomplish 6G
TIG Pipe at a later date. I’m able to fit and install pipe. I can cut with oxyacetylene,
Burn, Flush, MIG. I have some Inner Shield experience, some Flux Core
experience. I can easily pick up dual shield.
My Objective: To Obtain a position as a Pipe Welder with room for advancement.
I’m a hard worker and a fast learner with ability to follow directions.
Skills and Qualifications:
