Assistant Network Administrator

Experience I spent a summer working as the assistant network administrator for the CS department. My duties included
maintaining accounts, monitoring the labs, and upgrading the department’s website. In addition, I was in charge
of a project we did for the TREE program (http://tree.olemiss.edu) to donate computers to a public school

Teaching Assistant

For two semesters in my junior year, I worked for the Computer Science Department as a Teaching Assistant for
the first and second semester introductory programming classes, using the Java programming language. I taught
weekly lab sections, either by myself or with another TA, and many times I wrote the lab assignments that the
students were asked to do.

In 2007, my husband and I started a concierge business in Oxford, MS. We offered a variety of services to our
clients, including computer help, web design, media conversions, errand running, pet sitting, and dog training.
We supported ourselves this way until we were able to go back to school, at which point we closed the business.
