Accomplishments

. Negotiated a consignment program for aluminum and steel with our

supplier. This resulted in a $210,000 inventory reduction.

. Moved the sourcing of stampings, castings, and machined parts to

China. This resulted in a cost savings of $148,000.00 annually.

. Collaborated with engineering to initially design purchase and setup a

production line for Bobcat compact utility tractors.

. Moved the production of 23 different printed circuit board (PCB)

assemblies to Malaysian and Chinese suppliers from US suppliers.

This resulted in an annual cost savings of $1.1 million.

. Implemented SAP (ERP) system in purchasing and production planning.

Worked with the IT department to implement SAP in purchasing a

planning and became the team leader that trained the rest of the

purchasing/planning organizations.

. Worked with our suppliers and engineering to meet the RoHs directives

from the European Union regarding removing the heavy metal out of

electronic equipment that is being sold in Europe.

. Designed, developed and implemented a supplier evaluation program to

improve supplier delivery, quality, price, and customer service levels

as part of our ISO program.

. At Lumificient I was able to achieve at least 10% cost savings per

year for 4 years.

. Won the President's Value Award three times while at Brady. Out of

3,500 employees only 50 employees are selected for this award each

year. The rewards were a result of the following accomplishment;

1. Resolving quality workmanship issues with a supplier. The

issue was holding up shipment of approximately $500,000 per

month

2. The second award was for moving a product line to Malaysia which

resulted in an annual cost savings of $1.5 million in labor

savings per year.

3. The third award was for moving production of assembly from an

outside supplier to in house production. This resulted in a

$280,000 savings annually.
