• Main interface between the customer and production.

• Create order and t rack the delivery components for production

schedule to ensure on-t ime availability and no interruption in

p roduction of finished goods for customer requirements.

• Establish daily machine schedules considering load factors and

maximum usage of available capacity, balances production and

i nventory levels coordinated to various in ternal groups such as

P urchasing, OE Planning, Technical Center, Quality, and Production,

to satisfy the end customer.

• Monitor and verify of Material bills, inventory reduction, and t ruck

a rrangements to ensure accuracy, structure, and data integrity of MRP

( Materials Requirements Planning) and related systems, protects and

i nsulates customer from supply disruptions, measures customer

delivery performance and inventory plan

• Recommends and implements solution to inventory and delivery

p roblems, and assist with measuring supplier performance.

• Ensure production has the correct part when a PRN (Product Release

Notice) is released by design that results in revision level change for an

existing part or a new part is created. This usually requires

coordination with the supplier, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical

E ngineering, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Production.

• Monitor the inventories to balance the old parts and the bringing in of

new parts.

March 1997 to December 1997 – C ustomer Pl anner for OE and Service.

• Received customer requirements, creating a build schedule, creating a

t ruck schedule, and monitoring part inventory to ensure there is no

l ine stoppage.

• Maintained and verify the accuracy of part data; e.g. BOM, safety

s tock, lot size. Cradle to grave ownership of all Mazda, Windstar, ZJ

Service and OE.

• Operated as the voice of GKN customer, and coordinates their

requirements with different groups within GKN AI.

July 1995 to March 1997 – Service Pa rts Pl anner ( tier one domestic and

J apanese t ransplant automotive suppliers)

• Daily contact with production at the Roxboro facili ty, as well as with

t he sister plants located in Alamance and Sanford.

• Received orders, and coordinated customer requirements with

P urchasing, Engineering, Material Handling, and Quality.

• Maintained and verified the accuracy of part data; e.g. BOM, safety

s tock, lot size.
