Production Manager, El Paso Facility
Coca-Cola - El Paso, TX - May 2011 to Present
• Managed a high volume fast pace production department that produces all the carbonated soft drinks for the
El Paso, south New Mexico, and surroundings areas markets. A market volume of 12 million cases per year.
• Supervised two supervisors, and thirty hourly employees distributed in two production lines running two shifts,
and a third shift sanitation crew.
• Led weekly downtime meetings with production, maintenance and quality departments to review top issues
and improve efficiencies. Resulted on unconstrained line efficiency improvement of 10% from average 2011
to first two months on 2012 (from 64% to 70%) on line 1.
• Managed the 2012 facility budget. Facility budget include production, maintenance, quality, and all facility
expenses. First two month's expenses resulted in 18% less than budget, due to improve efficiencies and
material yields, as well as volume increased by 6%.
• Developed 2012 business goals for El Paso production aligned to corporate goals and company vision.
• Implemented Process Improvement projects and updated PI tracker every month. PI's include capital
investment and process improvements that have resulted in $31K savings for the first two months in 2012.
• Successfully prepared and participated on Quality Compliance Audit; which included ISO-9001, Food Safety,
GMP's, and HACCP standards.
Project Manager, Juarez Facility & Operations Manager

• Led production line transfers and launched new production lines at Juarez manufacturing facility; responsible
to coordinate all activities related to planning, production readiness, engineering support, quality assurance,
and capital equipment justification & procurement. Transferred a production line from China that resulted in
$3.6 million dollars savings for the first year.
• Tracked all project milestones and deliverables for projects using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Managed project budget and coordinated new equipment procurement with corporate purchasing
department; as well as coordinating equipment transfer from sending plant to receiving plant.
• Ensured facilities readiness at receiving plant before start up of operations.
• Provided support during the first year of production ramp up by reviewing sales forecast provided by Product
Management and adjusting production capacity requirements on the production lines based on the demand.

• Managed the Manufacturing Operation, Facilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Production
Planning, and Training.
• Supervised a team of 40 hourly employees, and 9 salary professional employees. Salary professional
employees included production planners, manufacturing engineers, maintenance supervisor, trainer, and
second shift operations lead.
• Developed yearly performance business goals and monitored progress throughout the year for both hourly
and salary employees.
• Drove continuous process improvement teams within areas of functional responsibility, and coordinated with
other managers and teams to drive process improvements in cross-functional areas. Cost reduction projects
saved $200K in fiscal year 2009, and $350K in fiscal year 2010 in the Distribution Center.
• Developed and monitored operating expenses annual budget for both fixed and variable costs every year.

• Effectively planned and scheduled daily production activities in order to optimize the productivity of the team
and ensured that demand peaks were met.
