or rebuilds of silicone coating lines that utilized E-Beam and UV
curing systems from an Illinois facility to the Iowa Plant resulting
in a profitable production process.
. As a Project Manager, oversaw the start up of six new or redesigned
plants in Guangzhou, China, Eden, North Carolina and West Chicago,
Illinois facilities (Due to acquisitions-really worked for Loparex
since early 90's). Financially managed start ups and turned
responsibility over to new Operations Managers, after training them.
Designed coding stations, and plant and machine layout. Performed
capital planning and wrote up plans to justify expenditures for
initial layout, signed off on all equipment and hired initial staff.
Stayed on as Technical Manager in consultation with new Operations
Managers for a period of two to three years after start up to ensure
continuing success of initial plans.
. Led the project to upgrade antiquated curing ovens for a thermal cure
silicone coating line,
