2004 – 2010
BC
Supervised mechanical scope of work for monthly and annual plant turnarounds at the Port Alberni and
Elk Falls pulp & paper mills. Completed all projects safely (no LTA’s) & on schedule, and finished 25%
under budget on maintenance costs 4 years in a row. Results included increased production, improved
equipment reliability & less downtime.
• Planned, scheduled and coordinated mechanical turnarounds, maintenance and capital projects,
including process piping installations, hydraulic pump/motor rebuilds and maintenance to
overhead crane, conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment.
• Created construction work packages, and ensured parts were ordered/received on time.
