SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Develop and implement cost reduction strategies that consistently exceed annual savings goals by a 14% average over
the last seven years.
Establish and maintain Supplier Development Strategies that ensure uninterrupted supply through Supplier rationalization,
Material rationalization, Fact based negotiations, and Risk Mitigation Plans that foster long term Supplier reliability, security,
flexibility, and quality performance. Proven results include supplier consolidation (Reduced from 3,500+ to <475 active
suppliers), implemented 60+ MRO Point of Use Cabinets in six plants, VMI programs, Long Term Agreements, Supplier VA
Improvement Programs (one program generated $1M+/year over 3 year period), Risk Mitigation Process/Projects
encompassing Supply Risk Alternatives, Intellectual Property protection, and on site Contractor Safety/Certificate of
Insurance compliance.
Provide cross functional team leadership to drive process improvements and resolve technical production issues by
utilizing lean management problem solving tools.
Key team member that developed the project concept and managed a $250 Million lean green-field manufacturing facility
Capital Project on schedule and within budget. Managed all Capital Project Spend including $100 Million+ from
International Sources.
Created several best project management practices that improved the Capital Project performance from 25% to 80% on
schedule and on budget. Developed Capital Equipment Procurement Agreement template in conjunction Corporate Law
Department review. Introduced/implemented Capital Equipment Total Cost of Ownership Bid analysis with cost of utilities,
critical spare parts requirements, installation and maintenance requirements.
Developed the Integrated MRO Supplier Program as a model that was expanded to all Corporate Company locations.
Manage Executive Review Meetings with Senior Management Team to review Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results
with a focus on upcoming Cost Savings, Risk Mitigation, and Process Improvement Projects.
Implemented and facilitate the Daily Management Board (DMB) communication meetings that successfully drive the
Purchasing Department Business Policy Deployment (BPD) Goals & Objectives.
Reduced inventory by 54% by implementing metrics tools and daily management standard work practices to facilitate
inventory reductions while maintaining 95%+ fill rate to promise ship dates.
Currently supervise a staff of 12 in Materials Management. Previously managed an Integrated MRO Supplier (30 employees)
with responsibility for all indirect spend (including Capital > $130 Mil/year) for six manufacturing facilities located in five
states. Develop and maintain department administrative policies & procedures and oversee internal and external
