Night Audit 8/10-2/11

As a member of the night audit team I worked closely with a small team of four people to

ensure hotel operations ran efficiently during the overnight shift period. Some of my

responsibilities included checking in guests for their stay, running the nightly hotel audit,

fielding guest concerns and security issues as well as making sure the first shift is

prepared for a successful morning.

Front Desk Associate 2/11-8/11

As a member of the Front Desk team I was responsible for providing quick and efficient

service to our guests during their check in and checking out experience at the largest hotel

in Chicago. On an average day my main tasks were assisting guests with their check in

and checkout experience and handling guest concerns for up to 3000 guests per day.

Control Supervisor 8/11-3/12

As the Control Supervisor I managed and maintained the hotel’s inventory, fielded guest

phone calls, and assisted the Front Office Managers with various tasks and projects. The

Control Supervisor fields all Front Desk related calls which can be related to billing

issues, upset guests, reservation requests and well as general information calls. The

largest aspect of this position was managing the hotels inventory to ensure the

Housekeeping staff is successful.

West Tower Airline Supervisor/ Senior Front Desk Associate 3/12-6/13

As West Tower Airline Supervisor I was responsible for operating the West Tower front

desk. My responsibilities as an Airline Agent included making sure all airline guests

rooms were ready, keys made and sign in sheets available. I was also responsible for

managing their inventory and communicating that with my on duty managers. West

Tower agent you are responsible for handling all guest concerns. When I was not at West

Tower I would continue my responsibilities as a Front Desk Agent, as a Senior Agent I

took the intuitive to assist in the training of new agents.

Hollywood Video 07/08-06/10

Manager on Duty

I took I higher level of Responsibility when I took the position of Manger on Duty

at this high volume store. I am at the highest position of (MOD), placing me right under

the Manager. Having that seniority places I higher level of expectations and

responsibilities on me. I have to oversee employees working with me and make sure they

accomplish the tasks that are assigned to them, while also continuing to handle my own

set of responsibilities.

Movie Gallery /Pizza Hut 10/07/ 07/08

Manager on Duty/Prep supervisor

I was working two jobs while maintaining a very high level of professionalism. I

worked upwards of 55 hrs/per week. At Movie Gallery I quickly excelled from customer

service associate to Manager on duty. In a matter of a few months I was their top sales

associate in the E-4 linguistics, awarding me the employee of the month status every

other month thereafter. In becoming a Manager on duty I learned the necessary skills of

running I store properly, including such tasks as opening and closing the store, counting

down cash drawers, and making bank deposits. Working at Pizza Hut I was quickly

promoted from cook to Prep Supervisor. That new position entailed me opening the store

every morning and getting every position set up for opening as well as reporting gross

numbers from the previous day’s business to Finance. I was the first to arrive and the last

to leave, and every upper management new that I was the person to ask if the needed

something of importance done fast and correctly.

Hardees 06-07 / 10-07

I ran the drive-through and front-line. I have also been trained in back-line When my shift

leader was occupied, I would deal with customer satisfaction, assign breaks to employees

on shift, give out checks and give interviews.

Target 11-04 / 01-05

Seasonal Hire Part time

My duties included the following; Cashiering, running the lot’s, keeping cart racks full,

stocking frontline, and Zoning when I closed.

My duties included hanging dry wall, screwing down sheets, running corner bead,

stomping ceilings, finishing, and overall just general Laborer.
