SUMMARY

Metallurgical Engineer - Operational Management experience; Welding and Materials

Engineering expertise; and Quality Assurance- Process Optimization expertise-Lean Six

Sigma implementation. A broad knowledge of welding processes and optimization of welding

activities, material selection-metallic, polymer and ceramic applied to corrosion-erosion resistance

Corrosion-erosion-material selection philosophy Material selection diagrams for oil-sands

beneficiation via SAGD and solvent extraction- mechanical equipment, piping, components and

wear plates and wear resistant linings Review-squad checks of welding procedures, heat

specifications. Vendor Surveillance - Assessment of vendor capability for material quality and

activities with fabrication schedule for the manufacture of CS, SS and alloy steel pressure

vessels. Led the team during ASME and NB audit-corporate certification. Developed

welding, non-destructive examination, stress relieving, hydrostatic, pickling, painting and

insulation procedures, process traceability checklists, welding work instructions and ITP’s .
