KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Supervision and Management

• Co-ordinated and delivered a full entertainment and activities programme in a popular Holiday/Restaurant/Pool Bar venue, including discos, competitions, family fun and seasonal events. Sourced and selected and monitored a variety of performers. • Managed a 24 hour Industrial Cleaning Business together with two partners, handling large multi-site contracts such as LIDL and co-ordinating a team of contract and casual staff

• Organised weekly timetables and staff duty rotas, ensuring casual staff availability for sickness, holiday and special event cover and dealt with disciplinary staff issues.

• Handled promotional and marketing activity

• Ensured all Health, Hygiene, Safety and Security issues were in place and observed. Main Key Holder for premises.

Retail

• Worked for a high street jeweller providing a range of jewellery, with special responsibility for designer watches

• Sole responsibility for window display and special promotions

• Liaised with suppliers and representatives, taking decisions on selection of new lines and products

• Processed cash, cheque and credit card transactions, reconciled end of day takings, and banked money.

• Carried out regular stocktake and audit

• Worked in a close knit team maintaining excellent working relationships and supporting staff to achieve sales targets

Field Sales and Customer Service

• Promoted to Regional Field Sales from Internal Sales in a large home improvement organisation, having consistently received awards for business development in a target driven industry over a 3 year period.

• Customer Service Sales experience in the Classified/Media industry, selling one-off and long term media coverage to companies and individuals. Negotiated repeat business and opened up new client accounts.

• First point of contact in resolving customer problems by liaising effectively with other departments and manager
