Digital Supply Chain solutions to tailor fit customer demands to Arrow Electronic

• Named South East Inventory Champion. Maintained strict controls on $25M of
electronic component inventory. Led the effort to reduce South East Inventory by
$5M.
• Spearheaded inventory reduction on all manually restricted inventories in the
southeast. Reported directly to the Regional Vice President for this project.

Supervised and managed engineering projects to support the Chemical
Vapor Deposition area of the plant to include –
• Managed the Enhanced Single Mode Fiber (ESMF) Project for North America.
Personally took the process from prototype stage to full development. Brought
qualified fiber to market ahead of schedule and under budget. Managed a team of
7 technicians, engineers and physicists to accomplish the task. Installed, qualified
and brought to full production 24 new Chemical Vapor Deposition lathes.
Personally involved in the procurement of all capital equipment as well as
establishing pipelines for all new raw materials.
• Led a successful effort to manufacture and treat new ESMF fiber with Deuterium
gas. Took project from conception to full production
• Worked with French and American Engineers to develop a fully automatic
diameter control system to control the rate of collapse of tubular glass.
Supervised a budget of $600,000.
• Lead 2 teams in a capital expansion of 25 collapse lathes and 9 Chemical Vapor
Deposition lathes
