Medco Health Solutions

Medco Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) – Team Member May 2010 to till date

Medco IVR is used by Express Scripts Inc, USA customers to request for prescription refill, status of

order, get information about the balance & payment details etc. It serves caller by accepting both DTMF

and voice input; and redirecting caller to the specific menu. This IVR application is developed using

Genesys Voice Platform Studio (GVPS) and the application is based on Genesys Voice portal (GVP).

Business logic uses core java, servlets and communicates with backend formed by webservices and MQ.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in converting requirements into executable software which includes the coding,

development of Genesys Voice Platform – GVP callflow and configuration files using VXML, core

java and Servlets, grammar development using GRXML.

Lead small sized team (2-4), delivered software successfully deployed and running in production.

Working with BAs and attending various meeting to gather information about software

requirement, provide status on daily basis to the whole array of stakeholders of the project.

Responsible for writing test cases, unit testing and integration testing of the developed software.

Conduct code reviews.

clients to different real servers. LBMS GUI provides several features to the user for monitoring the servers

configured, configuring the system settings and parameters, view the statistics of the configurations, view

SLB status, and download logs.

Developed the LBMS log module using Struts2 and AJAX along with internationalization of the

product.
