CURRENT EMPLOYMENT

Clintons - December 2013 -Current

I am currently working for the card shop Clintons, as a Christmas temp. My

main duty is to give the best customer service to all of the customers that

either enter the store, or work past. I have to stock the shelves with all

the different cards that are available, as well as show the customers the

location of the items that are needed. It is a fast paced job which gives

me the chance to talk to customers and learn different ways to sell them

more items that might not have been thought up before.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT

British Heart Foundation - November 2013 - December 2013

I am currently working for the company British Heart Foundation, helping

out for the Christmas period. My roles within the company are to help sort

the store prepare for Christmas. I have to perform tasks such as dealing

with customer enquiries, as well as help designing the store to make it

look more appealing for the customers.

Marks and Spencer - July 2013 to September 2013

I worked in Marks and Spencer as a customer assistant. I was a morning

filler, which means that I stacked the shelves early in the morning, to get

the store ready so it can be opened on time. My shift started at either 6

am or 6.30 am. If I was to start work at 6, it was to help out with the ops

part of the team. I would have to empty the delivery truck and take all of

the stock to the fridge to be sorted.

McDonalds - February 2011 to April 2013

I worked for the family run business McDonalds in Basildon at the Festival

Leisure. I was one of the oldest crew trainers and have been a trainee

manager since December 2012. My main roles were to either work on the tills

or cooking the food, which is done at the highest of standards and quality.

My secondary roles were to train new crew members how to work on a station

such as till work, and to teach them the correct procedures. I learnt how

to handle large amounts of money at a time and have also been trusted in

dealing with other people's money. I gained a lot of experience from

working in McDonalds.

Argos Distribution Centre - September 2010 to December 2010

Blue Arrow, the logistics company, who employed me for the Argos

Distribution Centre in Basildon. I worked as a warehouse operative,

collecting items from all over the warehouse which had been ordered by the

Argos stores around the country, in shifts from 6am to 10pm.

attention to detail and speed were both necessary. Between filling orders,

My duties involved all aspects of providing fast food to both seated and

take away guests - preparation of raw food and cooking by fryer and

griddle; customer service with till operation; cleaning of the restaurant

health and safety and the need to put the customer first.
