Acwa Power Group which is mainly a contracting company. ACWA Pipe

has its plant in Dammam & in Rabigh (Saudi Arabia). ACWA Pipe -

Rabigh is newly established plant in Rabigh which undergoes in RCP

as well as GRP Plant.

Designation: a) Acting Production Engineer / Operation Engineer

(10 months)

Job responsibilities includes the Raw Material Planning,

Production Planning, Controlling the Manpower, Controlling the

Efficiency of the Resins, Planning includes the arrangement of right

Raw Material on right time, Controlling the Pipe Production &

Process, Manpower Management, Arrangement for the Fixtures or

material required for production with the correct & required

specifications, Implementing the 5S system on the shop-floor,

arrangement for the requirements on time for proper workflow.

Scheduling of the Logistics / shipping Activities, Customer Queries,

Handling Site, Customer Requirements, Interaction with the Clients /

Customers. Arrangement for all Logistics material requirements, etc.

b) Quality Control Engineer

The QC / QA role will be aligned, to the delivery process

working with the process team, the responsibilities include Quality

check providing feedback and provide consultancy for process

queries, documentation and development of QMS reporting and drive

improvements initiatives.

. Ability to work closely with Production and development team.

. Ability to design, plan, development and execute test plans and

test cases and implement reporting.

. Familiar with automated tools, Lab Instruments and Quality Metric

standards.

. Knowledge of QA/QC norms of mechanical & fabricated products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set-up of QC - GRP Laboratory & other parameters during the

commissioning period.

Procurement of all necessary Equipments / Instruments, material

required for Testing in the Lab.

Generating the Quality Control Manual as per the requirement of

Saudi & International Standard which is required for ISO

documentation.

Setting up of New Instruments/ Equipments/ Machines with all

settings as per Internal Standard, ASTM Standard requirements.

5. Controlling the Inspection of all Incoming Raw Materials,

brought out item like Vinyl Ester, Polyester & Epoxy Resin, Glass

fiber, Sand, Rubber Rings for sealing and other additives &

maintaining all the required records.

6. Preparation of the documents required for Inspection, testing

of Raw Materials of GRP, GRV & GRE.

7. In coordination with Production Department, generating the

documents related to Production Department.

8. Monitoring & controlling of calibration of Instruments /

Equipments / machines as per UKAS / NAMAS Standards & as per

requirement of ISO 9001:2000.

9. Analyzing the defects Parameters by Defects Analysis.

10. Generating the CFW Machine Utilisation Efficiency considering

the breakdown, Machine run-hrs, etc.

11. Conducting Third Party Inspection as per the requirements of

the clients.

12. Acquired basic knowledge of Site Installation requirements.

13. Inspection of Glass reinforced plastic pipes installation.

14. Handling Field / Site Work, whenever there is a requirement.

15. Inspection of test related Glass reinforced plastic pipes

installation.

16. Resolve technical customer queries and complaints.

17. Train Client for installation and lamination of GRP pipe line

network.

18. Preparation and review of method statements for GRP pipe

installation and testing.

19. Coordination between client and office management.

20. Sucessfully completion of SEPCO IIII (Rabigh Electricity Power

Plant) Site Installation Inspection for DN 3600 mm GRP Pipe about

the Joints, Hydrotest, Join test.

Hoop tensile Modulus, Strain Corrosion (Chemical requirement test)

short term burst test & Joint Leak - Tightness test as per ASTM, Abu

Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) Specifications & Abu Dhabi

Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) specifications.

13. Analyzing the Long term - Qualification test data for 50 years &

60 years, etc.

14. Monitoring & Controlling of calibration of Instruments /
