the custom window assembly production department. In addition I have a lead role in plant product

quality including incoming inventory and product shipments. Currently assisting plant with establishing

structure for production areas, safety, and housekeeping.

(Produce window and door screens for residential homes) (July 2008 – Jan 2010) Position held:

Production manager. Managed and direct 35 team members at this facility. Maintained a smooth flow

from raw material through the processing, staging, building and shipment of the product. All products

were JIT production. Also responsible for shipping and receiving of both raw incoming material and

quality of outgoing finished product, assuring all shipments are 100% complete at time of shipment.

Increased production by 15% and reduced labor by restructuring production line into single piece flow

work cells.

TEAM Industrial, 4400 Chrysler Drive. Toledo, Ohio 43612. (Sanitation

Management for Chrysler Corp). (Mar 2008 - July 2008). Operations manager for plant sanitation.

Directed 3 shift supervisors and a floor team of 24 union sanitation employees. Documented all shift

activities including accidents, safety issues and disciplinary actions or any other incidents that occurred

during shift. My team was responsible for keeping the 1 million sq foot plant free of all debris, removal of

all trash from production lines and to assure all aisle ways were kept clear at all times with a 100 %

completion rate. In addition, I was responsible for coordinating clean up of all spills from water to

hazardous material throughout the entire plant. Completed maintenance and cleanliness of waste water

treatment tanks and all plant restrooms, offices and cafeterias 24/7 at the Toledo North Assembly Plant.

Masonite Corp. 830 N. Westwood. Toledo, Ohio 43607. (Produced residential

interior and exterior doors) (Sept 2004 - July 2007). Production manager responsible for a production

workforce of 50 direct labor union employees, 2 maintenance employees and 1 production supervisor.

Our plant injury rate was significantly reduced by more 80%, through safety awareness training.

Productivity was increased by 25% by reconfiguring multiple assembly lines and reduced manpower at

the same time through job cross-training. The cost of tools, manufacturing and safety supplies as well as

services, were reduced (in most cases) by as much as 50% through competitive pricing and bulk buying

(Company electro-coated and power coated automotive parts) (July 2002-Sept 2004)

Shift supervisor responsible for team of 20 direct employees which included training, efficiency, quality

and safety. Assured parts were coated to specifications, 100% inspected and packaged for shipment.

All jobs/runs were successfully turned around in 24 hours or less for customers.

All dock related paperwork, dock audits of both the incoming and out bound shipment inventory and

loading and unloading trucks was completed and filed nightly at 100%.

Comfortline Windows Inc. 5500 Enterprise Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43612. (Produced

vinyl and fiberglass replacement windows and doors) (Nov 1996-Nov 2001) Plant process engineer,

Nov 1996-May 2000 Promoted to Quality control manager May 2000 through November 2001

Increased production in the fiberglass lineal operation by doubling throughput in less than 2 years,

without increasing work force by using cross-training method and updating procedures. Responsible for

quality of all products including 3 shift lineal department, as well as 4 production assembly lines and a

paint department. Developed and implemented quality procedures for all production at this facility,

including daily audits. This resulted in a 40% decrease in customer warranty issues in first year alone

achieved through aggressive continuous improvement programs. Maintained records of quality issues

form inception through solution. Set up fabrication department for better flow resulting in a 20% increase

in production.

vinyl replacement windows and patio doors). Production supervisor, (Nov 1993-Nov 1996) Group

leader May (1987-Nov 1993) Production line employee May (1982-May 1987). Supervising position:

responsible for 40 hourly production employees. Responsibilities included safety, quality and productivity

and maintaining JIT production. I assisted in developing a recycling program, reclaiming over $200K in

scrap material in first year of program. I personally grew with plant that had 3 employees in 1982 to more

than 500 employees in 1996.
