. Responsible of plant service KPIs (UFR, schedule attainment, backorder

amount goal, backlog days and inventory amount per month

. Achieved 8 straight months of on time delivery (Unit Fill Rate) over

the goal of 95%

. Achieved 9 straight months of backorder amount below target, target

of $1.319kk and new target due to new fiscal year is $ 1,160kk January

of 2012 still under target.

. Inform corporate in a weekly basis the Backorder top ten SKUs along

with root causes and recovery dates

. Achieved 9 straight months with schedule attainment percentage over

target, over 97%

. Responsible for Slow and none moving parts reports and maintain

. Subordinates: 1 warehouse supervisor, 1 data entry clerk and 7

warehouse staff = 9 people

. Responsible for all procurement, warehousing, scheduling, logistics

and production control activities (Supply Chain)

. Monitor and Maintain monthly KPIs such as:

o Source new suppliers and help to develop suppliers for business

needs and cost reductions.

o Reduced AVL list trough supplier consolidation (R/M suppliers

from 34 suppliers to 31 suppliers / MRO suppliers from 312 to

280 )

o Run and monitor Min/Max and MRP for raw materials, secure

constant raw materials supply in order to maintain production

lines running with out any problem

o Improved inventory turns from 4 turns per year to 6.5 turns,

just by monitoring MRP messages in a daily basis, executing

messages and creating KanBan agreements with some suppliers,

example is corrugated boxes, only have one day of stock in

o Achieved 12 months with no back orders, lates or misses given as

a result 100% OTD and was base on priorities in production floor

base on min-max report, coordination and communication with

customer service and sales.

o Review monthly E&O parts and make dispositions

o Daily Min/Max inventory report run monitor & maintain for FG to

keep adequate inventory levels

o Cycle count accuracy. When started was 88%, set up goal was

99%, achieved 99%, review common root causes & focus on

implement improvements with pareto charts, fishbone and VSM

o Performed 2 physical inventories, 1st with a $3k variance out of

$4.2kk, 2nd with $500.00 variance out of $3.7kk

. Responsible to set up and implement departmental procedures

. Responsible for mix pallet project that consist in:

a).- Palletizing several WO in one pallet b).- Reducing

container request to trucking company each week

c).- Reducing wood pallets request by 50% d) estimated annual

consisted in reducing time for model change up and DT:

e).- Reviewed supply chain process and made current and desire

value stream map in order to identify opportunity areas of

improvement, days with starting value stream map were 35 days

and was reduce to 23 days, achievement was made trough deleting

process that were either not necessary or non value added.

. Reduced AVL list from 82 105 supplier to 82 suppliers trough vendor

consolidation and obtaining better prices to achieved corporate goal.

. Work with quality dept. to achieve drop supplier goal, stopped doing

business with suppliers that were not certified base on company

supplier scorecard.

. Achieve 4 VMI and 2 kanban agreements with suppliers, mayor

achievement was Avnet in-plant store and coordinating with other

departments VMI transfer from Otay facility to La Mesa facility.

. Responsible for the CSC commodity # 11 Metal Fabrication (cost

reduction project). Achieved savings of $ 435,000. just changing

suppliers from USA to Asia and negotiating stocking agreements.

. Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance to select the best

supplier base.

. Responsible to coordinate the on time delivery of all raw materials to

production lines

. Work with SQE in reducing AVL list (Total R/M suppliers were 82)

trough vendor consolidation.

. Coordinate and achieved a BID on line (Auction) for the corrugated

commodity that gave the company cost savings of $200k
