Expanding VVO will broaden support to include LAC and Canada. Global
expansion will also be partially supported by this project.
Historically, each region developed its own capabilities to deliver
information to clients. The LAC region has developed an advanced
capability called Visa Vue Advantage (VVA). There is a significant overlap
of functions when comparing VVO to VVA. It is not sustainable, nor
desirable to maintain separate and similar infrastructures to support
individual region programs. VVA faces major upgrades to comply with
certain security features that have been put in place for the sharing of
peer performance information - and these costs can be avoided by moving to
VVO.
Although Canada has access to VVO through Quick Win, the Canadian market is
moving toward a model that will require the full functionality of VVO. For
example, co-brand programs are becoming increasingly important. Reporting
on co-brand programs is supported in the full version of VVO, not in Quick
Win. Also, Canada may be moving toward account level processing to support
loyalty programs similar to those in the US. Again, this feature is
available on VVO, but not the Quick Win version.
There is increasing demand around the world for VVO reporting services
driven to a considerable extent by competitive pressures.
Later Extended to Provide VVO reporting for merchants in general, and
particularly for merchants that use the MDEX service.

The product will include an interactive report package containing high-
level cost and utilization metrics for medical and prescription drug
benefit plans. This product will enable Ingenix to offer an entry-level
business intelligence tool to mid-large sized who cannot or will not make a
six-figure investment in technology-enabled health information services.
Additionally, this could be an entry-level product for large employers who
will only make a small, initial investment to determine the ROI of health
information services.

Description:
Home equity is the amount of money you have already paid against the value
of your home. A home equity line of credit can be used at any time for any
purpose, but there are several fees associated with a home equity line of
credit. They borrow against it and use the money for improvements to the
home, for college tuition for their children, or for things like
investments in business ventures such as purchasing additional property. A
home equity line of credit is usually about 75% of the appraised value of
the home minus the balance due on the current mortgage as well as any other
liens.
Loan Performance Home equity Product, provides delinquency information,
prepayment information, and general loan characteristics at aggregate level
of the client's portfolio and market. The clients are using the application
mostly for benchmarking and market analysis purposes. In terms of data
enhancements, customer pointed out the lack of important loan risk
characteristic such as credit scores and inability to get to the lower
level (more granular) data from higher level data. The goal of this project
is to include non-traditional data (e.g., Health Risk Appraisal, Lifestyle
Behavior Change Management, Laboratory Results, Disease Management, etc.)
into their data warehouse. Historically, adding these data types has been
accomplished in one of two ways:
1. Use of Customer Defined fields 1-10
2. Data housed in Access/Excel outside of the tool and cohort
populations exported into Parallax i for reporting and analysis
a. There are six clients that currently have HRA or Disease
Management reporting outside of Pxi.
This process is cumbersome, does not leverage the full capabilities of
Parallax i and thus has minimally served the business needs of our clients.
As more and more clients have requested this type of new data, the current
process is no longer sustainable.
Optum has requested Ingenix Employer Solutions (IES) develop an integrated
Project Management (PM) reporting system for them to sell as part of their
solution package. Seven reports will be developed which will augment
existing PM reports to expand the analytical capability to Episode
Treatment Group (ETG), Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) and Group Health
metrics.

New York.
They have contracted with Ingenix to build a data warehouse of their
medical, Rx and eligibility for multiple clients. Phase I includes clients
from their Charlotte office and selected clients from other offices. Phase
II includes warehouse and report development for clients of all Willis'
offices and additional new business clients. The key deliverable is the
development of a Willis customized report set, with focus on key financial
and operational metrics with additional clinical reporting, to be delivered
to their clients monthly.
