• Produces ballistic projectile proof shields with an mountable bracket
assembly compatible with a Picatinny Rail.
• Produced all 3D drawings (Pro-E) from conceptual phase.
• Preformed Finite Element Analysis using Ansys to determine effects of ballistic shock
and locate key stress intense regions of the shields.
• Re-designed shields as a result of the FEA data.

10/2008 –10/2011: Lead Engineer II, Advanced Design Corporation Thermal Weapon Sight
(TWS)
• Supported the Thermal Weapon Sight (TWS) program for the US Army’s Product
Manager Soldier Maneuver Systems (PM SMS).
• Lead team of 3 Mechanical and 2 Electrical engineers tasked with trouble-shooting,
design, development, procurement, testing, evaluation, and specification writing for the Thermal
Weapon Sight.
• Responsibilities at PM SMS include lead project engineer, 3-D Designer (Pro-E Wildfire
4) Configuration Management Officer, testing support and acquisitions.
• Responsible for identification and validation of failure modes resulting from testing and
Finite Element Analysis.
• Responsible for all DOD/ARMY paperwork involving corrective action as well as failure
mode identification.
• Responsible for working with a team of engineers and analysts who develop, analyze,
review, and redline documentation from vendors of thermal imaging equipment. Specifically, I
was responsible for reviewing hardware designs, verifying thermal, structural, and optical
requirements utilizing Finite Element Analysis with ANSYS Batch Mode software.

well as analyzing all components relative to thermal, image intensification, and laser hardware.

• Administered all of the maintenance contracts for the DOT airports in the state of Hawaii.

MEP, and Architects to produce commercial high rise structures within code requirements.

Chiller Systems and Cooling Towers.

• Constantly preform market research to ensure all systems components were purchased
and utilized as efficiently as possible.
• Utilized AutoCAD and Trane Trace software to calculate heating loads and ductwork in
various complexes including Marriott and Hilton multi-unit facilities.
• Frequently redlined drawing received from design architect to ensure compatibility and
make changes when needed.
• Sole AutoCAD draft personnel on site for Mechanical/MEP development including, Fan
Cooled Unit Placements, Riser protrustions, ductwork design, fire safety requirements, and
