assembly compatible with a Picatinny Rail.

and locate key stress intense regions of the shields.

(TWS)
• Supported the Thermal Weapon Sight (TWS) program for the US Army’s Product
Manager Soldier Maneuver Systems (PM SMS).
• Lead team of 3 Mechanical and 2 Electrical engineers tasked with trouble-shooting,
design, development, procurement, testing, evaluation, and specification writing for the Thermal
Weapon Sight.
• Responsibilities at PM SMS include lead project engineer, 3-D Designer (Pro-E Wildfire
4) Configuration Management Officer, testing support and acquisitions.
• Responsible for identification and validation of failure modes resulting from testing and
Finite Element Analysis.
• Responsible for all DOD/ARMY paperwork involving corrective action as well as failure
mode identification.
• Responsible for working with a team of engineers and analysts who develop, analyze,
review, and redline documentation from vendors of thermal imaging equipment. Specifically, I
was responsible for reviewing hardware designs, verifying thermal, structural, and optical
requirements utilizing Finite Element Analysis with ANSYS Batch Mode software.
