Iroquois Bar Corp. Feb 2013 - present $25M dollar, MBE, DBE construction
and material supplier company, serving many customers, and performing a
lot of GC work.
Controller
. The most challenging position of my career, managing 6 diverse
divisions, and various other companies at once. Recruited to
provide leadership and skill in operations for increased profits and
detailed financial statement presentation. Successfully implemented
new tactics and utilized the construction software to it's
operational potential, reducing costs, time, and effort, bringing
forward timely information as needed. Implemented budgets and
forecasts, determined production and estimating rates for better
efficiency and job bidding practices; still more to accomplish, but
again, lack of work is a major concern for my position, and I don't
ever want to be out of work.
Surianello General Concrete, Inc. March 2011 - Feb. 2013 - A $5M heavy
highway paving company with state of the art equipment and technology
utilizing talented union employees.
Controller
. Hired to manage several companies in disarray as the previous office
manager had not the adequate experience or training to handle such.
Managed and streamlined all accounting functions, automated payroll
and eq. utilization with import features, reducing time/costs, WIP
reporting, Union reporting, some payroll, heavy equipment
utilization, sales tax reporting and utilization, project management
and more. Realized enormous profit on one job, but the company
scaled down after not acquiring new work and was forced to seek new
opportunities with Iroquois Bar, Inc.
Seneca Construction Management Corp. July 2010 - Dec. 2010 A $100M
Native owned Construction management company in charge of building up the
Seneca Nations Infrastructure.
Controller
. Three Construction Management Corps. for the Seneca Nation
responsible for all infrastructure and development projects to
build up the Nation involving a great deal of Intercompany
transactions.
. Rehired by the Nation as Controller for my accounting and
Timberline Knowledge to handle all financial reporting, job costing
and monthly billing on mega construction projects.
. Projects include: 300M Casino's & Hotels, 20M Admin Bldg., 20M
Health Center, 2-20M Sports Complexes, 2-5M Water Towers, 2-10M
Waste Water Plants, Bingo halls, Radio Station, and Federal
projects also.
. Monthly financial prep, WIP schedule, job costing, G/L review, I/C
recs, and accrual processing.
. Handle all daily accounting functions, payroll, cash management,
change order review, & close out processes.
. Implemented new mechanisms on change order processing to improve
accuracy and profits.

Concrete Manufacturing and Delivery Company, with Heavy Machinery, Plant
Equipment, Cement Trucks and POS sales and inventory.
Plant Controller
. Recruited for another situation of cleaning up two years of financials
after an extremely long absence of a qualified controller. Updated and
provided accurate financials for the external auditors so they could
easily print a reviewed statement for the bank with confidence.
. Implemented financial reporting programs to monitor the company in
more detail, and improve performance.
. Managed daily cash reporting and expenditures, prepared/submitted
weekly/monthly borrow base reporting financials to creditors for
compliance.
. Monitored operations, trained staff properly, prepared all financial
reporting and handle all financial issues.
. Focused on improving procedures for better unit cost tracking and cash
flows for manufacturing.
. Negotiated favorable tax audit solutions on serious delinquencies, and
negotiated additional outside funding.
. Very successful in providing solutions to sales tax payments on the
cash received method, as opposed to accrual for significantly enhanced
cash flows. Obtained Empire Zone status for tax preferences and
savings.
. Limited role and conflict of ideology induced the search for a more
challenging position where my accounting skills could be fully

. After the departmental layoff from Seneca Gaming Corp., I was hired to
clean up the financials after a lengthy absence of a controller and
prepare year-end reporting for the external auditors. Also was
requested to evaluate the entire office procedures and staff for
efficiency and provide recommendations for improvement. Suggested
several noteworthy ideas; and moved onto Great Lakes.
Seneca Niagara Falls Gaming Corp. Nov 2007 - Dec 2008,
Senior Construction Accountant
. Four Star Hotel Resort and Casino Entertainment Operation in it's
growth and development stage, developing infrastructure in various NY
regions.
. Recruited by R.H., Int'l after a lengthy and successful background
check reporting to upper management in the tracking of $600M worth of
major construction projects and safeguard assets.
. Brought to the casino the experience of detailed job costing reports
and methods for monitoring projects and projecting cash flows to
safeguard against adverse results, and predict capital funding
requirements.
. Managed great projects such as a new $330M hotel/casino, a $25M golf
course, and other large infrastructure projects. A great job; great
people; great environment that was postponed with the collapse of the
economy, and the whole department was shut down.

Senior Financial Construction Analyst,
. Referred from my Timberline consultant for financial analysis to
handle over 100 active projects, WIP reporting, cash projections, job-
costing analysis and audit prep. Worked on the new Dallas Cowboy's
Football stadium's retractable roof, made of steel and tensile fabric.
Great people and environment, but moved on to the casino for a more
challenging role and presumed longevity.
