My responsibilities at Rue 21 was Customer Service, Working with
cash drawers, opening and closing the store, morning paperwork and
nightly deposits.
Receptionist/Service Newby Buick St. George, UT
November 2004- March 2008
My responsibilities at Newby as the receptionist was to answer multiple phone
line, make reports for the owner using Excel. When I moved into the service
department I helped with everything such as; porting cars billing out customer
pay and warranty tickets, as well as taking my required GM training and IDL's
for warranty, also Filing, flagging tech hours, writing service when needed,
Worked a lot with Dealer world and Dealer pulse. As well I kept track of all the
CSI (Customer service surveys) and make all of the follow up calls to be sure our
customers were happy
Receptionist Desert GMC Las Vegas, NV
May 2008- Jan 2012
As a full time receptionist at Desert I was responsible for answering multiple
phone lines, Closing all RO's from the service department, The nightly deposit
(which was always a huge amount of money) and all the paperwork that goes with
it. As well as keeping track of all used inventory, GM Certifying used vehicles in
Dealer world (a nationwide program). Stock tags and also all addendums that
belong to all used inventory using programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. I
also called all customers for their SOP's (special order parts) and all scheduling for
service appointments. (I have lots of Customer service experience) I also called
all customers for Green slips (RDS's) to register their
vehicles. In June 2011 I took a maternity leave of absence to have my son in which
I returned back to Desert GMC Oct. 2011. Upon my return Corporate came in and
made lots of changes including replacing our General Manager as well as fellow
Co-workers. I continued at Desert GMC Until Jan 31st 2012 were I was also laid
off due to replacement of all staff.
