successful track record in taking over manufacturing teams that suffered from low output, quality

issues and work ethic. I was able to use my experience and background in team and individual

I was recruited to LM Gear Anderson Cook by a Plant Manager familiar with my work and

Operations Supervision Manager

Anderson Cook Inc., Chesterfield, Michigan

07/2012 to Present

Lead the Manufacturing Production Team at Anderson Cook Inc. - LM Gear Division in

Chesterfield, Michigan for the past year.

• Co- ordinate the plant manufacturing schedules and set daily production schedules with

assistance from the Material Planning Department.

• Handled all first stage grievance issues with a UAW Union facility and met with Union

Chairperson daily on issues that developed for Safety or Operational issues and

questions.

• Operated as the Staff manager for all Maint and Janitorial departments of the plant.

• Responsible for payroll of all hourly employees

• Led all 5S planning and sign off of all planned operations in this area as they were

completed.

• Was recruited by the Plant Manager and CEO to come to Anderson Cook Inc. And assist

in intense make over of a program that was being over-hauled at the production level

and help to ingrain leadership in a troubled salaried staff stemming from my unique

experiences in dealing with people / personalities.

• Co-ordinate scheduling efforts for three shift manufacturing operation that dealt with

over 150 different production part numbers in a JIT production effort.

• Involved in 3 successful large scale new production operations launches for a large tier

supplier for several auto manufacturing companies

• Was brought in for a one year contract and now that is complete and I have been asked

by management to stay in my current capacity.

• Drove sustainable improvement in Key Performance Indicators including : Safety,

Quality, Delivery, Cost, Absenteeism, and Environment.

• Managed and drove improvement in a high volume ( 200,000 parts/week ), and large

part number (150 parts ), union facility.

• Scrap % of total sales dollars averaged 2.89% from July 2011-July 2012. Since July 2012

through July 2013 this measurement has improved to 1.21% under our new leadership

team.

• From July 2012 through July 2013 plant absenteeism improved to 3.36% in the hourly

workforce from the previous year of a high of 6.1 %.

• Currently operating under the NSF ISO / TS 16949 Conformance Standard.
