Summary: Lead trading desk for $1.7BN multi-strategy, opportunistic value, generalist hedge fund. Executed, monitored and

evaluated all domestic and international equity, derivative, commodity and currency trades with substantial discretion.

Disseminated and filtered portfolio, market and economic information and research to investment teams. Increased

communication among the investment teams by creating a morning meeting and fostering an environment of constant

dialogue which encouraged the exchange of information between and among members of the investment teams which lead to

Initiated the migration of substantial trading volume to electronic while maintaining select “high touch” relationships to

provide better depth of coverage. Reduced overall transaction costs by 50% in 2007 thru 2011 and allowed the firm to

trade more anonymously with less market impact, while adding measureable alpha and acknowledged by PMs and

Partners.

Improved communication between analysts, portfolio managers and traders by establishing daily meetings and changing

the corporate culture from one in which each person performs discret e tasks to a more collaborative, effective team.
