April 2012 – Current In tegral U K
Gas Fit ter and Building Maintenance Engineer
I am currently the main Gas qualified Buildings maintenance engineer working
on the DG1 (Dumfries and Galloway Council) contract for In tegral U K. I am
responsible for gas safety checks on various council buildings from offices to
schools. This work includes commercial ki tchen fi t tings in school catering
classrooms and canteens. I work once a month on an emergency call out basis
and as well as safety checks I do day to day general maintenance work such as
p lumbing etc. In my time at In tegral I have also been asked to work temporarily
on other contracts throughout Scotland where my experience and knowledge
have been required.
Dec 2011 – April 2012 In terserve UK
Buildings Maintenance Engineer
I worked for In terserve doing Gas Safety checks and general building
maintenance checks. This covered everything from Gas boilers to Emergency
L ighting checks. I worked mainly on their Probation Service Contract.
2010 – 2011 G4S
Gas Meter Engineer (Short term contract)
I worked for G4S doing Commercial and Domestic Gas meter servicing and
replacement. This was normal end of life replacements, replacement of domestic
and commercial meters with Card Only meters and also Gas disconnections.
2010 – 2010 Optimum Group Services
Gas Fit ter and Maintenance Engineer
I carried out gas safety checks and maintenance. I also assisted with air
conditioning installation and maintenance, and also some plumbing work.
2006 – 2010 Norton Commercial Gas Services
Gas Fit ter and Maintenance Engineer
This position covered Gas safety inspections on hotels, restaurants, shops and
domestic premises. Natural Gas and LPG safety checks on pumps, valves and
fans in commercial kitchens. General day to day maintenance. Emergency
evening, and weekend on call for incidents such as No Gas and No hot water.

This position was part of a commercial catering equipment contract working for
t he Ministry of Defence in sites along the West Coast of the U K. I worked on
Natural gas and LPG types of equipment doing gas safety checks, maintenance
and breakdowns.

Gas Fit ter and Maintenance Engineer
T his covered domestic gas safety checks, day to day maintenance, fault finding,
f i t ting of new and replacement parts. Some commercial work in offices and
school buildings.

I like to spend time off with friends and family. My partner and I have two
Springer Spaniel Dogs called Lucy and Buster who we enjoy taking for long
walks. We like to eat out when possible and enjoy t ravel abroad.
