Duties: While finishing my dental assisting certification through
R.O.P. School of Training I was able to intern for one hundred
twenty hours (120) and receive on the job skill training.
Internship responsibilities included training on proper chair
side assists with dentist, proper x-ray, and sterilization
techniques as well as administrative support including proper
techniques on medical filing, qualifying benefit eligibility for
new patients and receptionist relief duties when needed. I
quickly learned how to handle sensitive patients in a kind and
supportive manner. Internship allowed me to show my abilities
and allowed me to be hired full-time after certification
completion.
