Talking to the patients and their families ensuring they are comfortable and if not, then to seek out

ways of ensuring that their needs are met. This also involves having a little banter with the

patients in attempts to raise their spirits whilst taking into account their current situation. I also

help/volunteer to serve drinks and biscuits to the patients throughout the day.

Interests

I enjoy sport in particular horse riding as am a keen horse rider and so I try to do this as often

as I can at my local stables. I also really enjoy spending time with my children especially as I try

to help them to engage with numerous activities that are open to them and then I like to support

them as they compete or take part in what they choose to do. I like to also socialise with family

and friends and I use the social networking sites to stay in touch with people I dont actually see

often.
