Occupational Health and Safety Specialist 2/3 October 2011 to present
Working for Chipton-Ross, consulted with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Company in
Everett (WA). Worked with line supervisors to improve the safety processes and safety
management in the facility i.e. airplane confined space entry, PPE selection and use,
LOTTO/hazardous energy, fall protection/scaffolding, machine guarding, etc. Lead accident
investigations for ongoing issues looking for resolution. Prepared training materials for
presentations to employees and management on emergent issues. Safety committee attendance
and support for the factory. Investigated operational issues related to safety compliance and
supported positive changes. Understood policies and procedures specific to BCA and ensured
compliance to safe work rules by educating, coaching, investigating, persuasion, observation and
enforcement of employees during the aircraft re-build phase. Participated in numerous on site
work shops to help in the continuous improvement process, to promote culture change and to
