Responsible for additive process development from glass scale through to commercial scale.

- Assisted in the translation of a new dispersant process to Texaco Additive Company’s plant in Rio de Janeiro

- Devised a process to remove sediment from a new ethylene-propylene copolymer dispersant and a current member of a task force to redesign the process to eliminate sediment formation.

- Co-inventor of Texaco’s calcium oxide overbasing process for the manufacture of overbased calcium sulfonates

- Co-inventor of a continuous process to manufacture nitrogen containing dispersants and member of a team which built, trained personnel for, and started up this process at Texaco Additive Company’s Port Arthur, Texas plant.

- Translated a two-lime, calcium hydroxide and calcium oxide, overbasing process to commercial scale at Texaco Additive Company’s Port Arthur, Texas plant which decreased byproduct solids by over fifty percent.

Chemical Engineer May 1984 to December 1985

Responsible for Fluid Catalytic Cracking catalyst evaluation for Texaco’s refineries and FCC computer modeling.

- Designed and constructed a fully automated Fluid Catalytic Cracking catalyst deactivation pilot unit.
