MAJOR PROJECTS:
Project on Complete Utilization of Watermelon.
Different products from the watermelon were prepared i.e. from the red pulp jam and jelly was prepared,
from the white rind preserve was prepared, from the green skin juice was prepared.
Project on Preparation of Green Mature Banana Powder.
Green matured banana powder is rich in resistant starch which reduces the glycemic index. It has high
mineral and fiber content. Hence its incorporation into the food is the healthy choice.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
SANJAY GODAWAT OIL AND REFINERY, Kolhapur.
Study on different processing such as pressing, degumming, refining from soybean, sunflower,
cottonseed was done.
GANESH BAKERY NANDANI, Kolhapur.
Study on various bakery products such twisted khari, bread, butter, toast, cake, farsan, etc. was done.
NINA FOODS, Kolhapur.
The confectionery products such as crystalline candy, chocolate were studied and its process was
studied.
GOKUL DAIRY INDUSTRY, Kolhapur.
The process of the milk and milk products were shown. Various parameters such as pasteurization,
sterilization, homogenization, etc were studied. The various products such as flavored milk, pasteurized
milk, milk powder, lassi, buttermilk, paneer, etc were studied.
DAL PARIVAR, Jalgaon.
The name of the group of industries is Kogta group of industries. The processing of Spilt Bengal gram,
moth bean, green gram, red lentils, pigeon pea, black gram was studied. Its processing is completely
natural so that its nutritional content is restored.
JAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEM Ltd, Jalgaon.
W e studied the processing of asepticall y packed banana pulp, dehydrated onion, guava juice. The
implementation of HACCP system was demonstrated to us.
MAJOR INDUSTRIAL TRAININGS / INTERNSHIPS:
VINSURA Winery Pvt.Ltd. Nasik.
The training in Vinsura Winery was for the one month. The wine processing was studied. The alcohol
content, volatile acidity, SO2 content was tested. The technique of wine tasting was studied its sensory
was studied.
Hindustan beverage CoCa Cola Pvt.Ltd. Pune.
The training period was for the one month. The process of the carbonated beverage was studied. The
purification process for the water which is to be used was studied. The quality testing for the raw
beverage, prepared beverage, water was tested by us. The packaging materials were studied and its
testing was done by us.
