Performed Load Management tests on the generator (12KW and 8KW) to analyze capacity under certain conditions using Engineering Tool (Onan)
Assisted in cost analysis effort using Bill of Materials and studying design blue prints
Analyzed the design of the Inverter and the Generator to make similar connections on the Simulator to assist in future testing in simulation mode
Evaluated and aided in resolution failures
Identified, investigated and debugged problems during testing
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Hardware Development:
Developed single board PC using the 80C186EB microprocessor. Wrote Assembly language for firmware development. Implemented interface for analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a temperature sensor (LM35DZ) to the single board computer. Used EEPROMS to store and access data. Displayed stored data on LCD (Lumex LCM S01602) and used Keypad (16 keys) as user interface
Integrated Circuit Design:
Designed logic gates using NMOS and PMOS Transistors in Cadence simulation environment
Designed 3- bit Binary to Thermometer Code Converter using Inverter, NAND and NOR Logic Gates
Designed CMOS transistor-level blocks of 4 bit ALU, 3 to 7 bit Flash ADC, and 7 to 3 bit Current Steering DAC. The design effort included system level design flow, schematic capture, simulation and IC layout (DRC and LVS) using Cadence Virtuoso
Tool Development of Simulation and Analysis for High Speed PCB circuits:
Developed a MATLAB GUI package to simulate and analyze EM wave propagation in high speed PCB. Developed code based on finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Code included single/double-trace simulation, S parameter calculation, impedance calculation and E-field distribution display along with wave propagation on GUI.
Analog Designs:
Designed an Amplitude Shift Key wireless optical data link using AM modulator, Bandpass Filter, Envelope Detector, and audio amplifier to transmit a data signal over free space between an LED and detector. Designed a Current Feedback Amplifier using Cascode Current Mirrors. Designed an Op-amp with specific GBW product value. Also designed Differential Amplifier and Comparator.
