[1] Name : Image Decomposition, Reconstruction and De-noising using Wavelet Transform

Status : B. Tech. Final Year Project.

About : In the dissertation work, we break up the image signal in various frequency components

with the help of wavelet transform using MATLAB. Denoising is done at the different

levels of reconstruction process. A suitable threshold is fixed at every level and this

causes the rejection of unwanted frequency components, which creates noise in image.

In dissertation work we have also reviewed the concepts of QMF for the same process

of decomposition and reconstruction of image.
