Subject: Application for Electrical Linemen Apprentice

Members of the Board,

I would like to be considered for your next electrical apprentice.

I have 25 years of work experience with the United States Army and have

a current secret security clearance. Currently, I am still on Active

Duty with the US Army. I will be attending Northwest Linemen College

Orville CA. with crane certification in April 2014 and scheduled to

Graduate July 2014. I am willing to travel for work. I have experience

with a wide range of tools from simple hand tools to heavy equipment. I

currently hold a clean class A CDL with a year of over the road

experience driving 48 states. I am safety orientated both personally

and professionally. I have been responsible for millions of dollars

worth of equipment in both government and private work venues. I am

comfortable working alone or as part of a team. I am self-motivated,

hard working and have excellent verbal communication skills, both

written and oral.

I am physically fit and excited to learn. Stating this, I am interested

in the apprentice job opportunity with your company. Your apprentice

program will give me a chance to apply my experiences and skills

directly to the field for your company. When I complete your

apprenticeship program, I hope to become a valued member of your company

and one of your licensed electrical journeymen.

Thank you for your time in this matter. Hope to hear from you soon.

Respectfully,

Andrew H. McClary JR.
