Project Title :Noise Reduction in DSSS Systems Using Adaptive Filters
Technologies: MATLAB 7.0

Description:The noise free DSSS signal is successfully generated and
demodulated. A single tone interference signal is added to the noise free
spreader signal and is suppressed using both Least Mean Squares (LMS) and
Recursive Least Squares (RLS) Adaptive algorithms. When compared to Least
Mean Squares (LMS) filters, Recursive Least Squares (RLS) filters are
efficient in noisy environment which is evident from the period gram of the
spreader signal and Bit Error Rate (BER) plot after interference
suppression. The Bit error rate improvement after interference suppression
is also observed. Adaptive filters are successful in remarkably improving
the BER performance compared to normal filters like low pass and band stop
filters. Hence we can conclude that Adaptive filters are more efficient
than normal filters in noisy environment. The noisy DSSS signal is also
successfully demodulated. As a future work, the suppression scheme might be
implemented in frequency hopping systems.

our project Virus Information System aims to alert the people about the new
viruses. Keeping the latest information of viruses and providing list of
viruses and their behavior, users can protect their system.
