Work Experience :

General : In my career to date I have had several jobs where I have been able to demonstrate a good work

ethic ; high standards of customer care and the flexibility to work both on my own and as part of a

wider team. I am a hard working, motivated and reliable person with good I.T. skills able to use my

initiative and enjoy the pressures and challenges of the work environment.

May 2011 - Present : I have been working as a care assistant at Basildon Hospital and then for a private company (I-Care)

in the Chelmsford area visiting clients within their own homes looking after the general care and

hygiene of patients, often elderly, maintaining robust records of care provided. Much of this has

involved working on my own, using my own initiative to ensure patients receive as high a standard of

personal care as possible within existing guidelines.

Aug 2009 - Apr 2011 : I worked as a clerical / administrative assistant at the Basildon Hospital Maternity Unit. This was a

very busy unit delivering maternity services to the Basildon and Thurrock areas. My duties included

developing staff work rotas ; staff training and vacation schedules ; arranging parent-craft classes ;

tracking of hours worked and general administrative duties / management support. This enabled me

to strenghthen my administrative and organisational skills within a very busy business environment

requiring me to work with people at all levels of the hospital.

Jan 2009 - May 2009 : I undertook a temporary assignment with the Bank of Tokyo as a receptionist with key responsibilities

including greeting clients ; answering customer calls ; arranging meeting rooms ; providing help desk

support and general administrative duties. This was a short term assignment but enabled me to

improve my interpersonal and team working skills.

Aug 2006 - Dec 2008 : After leaving college in July 2006, I started work with an investment company in London (Matrix

Group) where I was initially employed as an administration assistant. Key responsibilities included

meeting corporate clients ; arranging meetings ; booking hotels / travel ; distribution of internal mail

and providing ad hoc P.A. cover to Matrix Group management.

In August 2007 I was promoted to a new position as P.A. to the Director of Hedge Funds within Matrix

Group with key responsibilities including checking of financial documentation ; corresponding with

hedge fund administrators ; assisting with road shows ; answering calls from Financial advisers /

clients and providing other administrative duties as required. Unfortunately this position was

terminated as there was a major redundancy within the group at the end of 2008.

Other Activities : My hobbies include music ; reading and socialising and have recently joined a gym and enjoy

swimming whenever possible.
