WORK EXPERIENCE AS A TRAINEE

Worked at Wipro Infotech, Gurgaon as a trainee in Telecom Department for AIRCEL project. I was working under the

operations team which is responsible to provide Oracle Database support to client (AIRCEL) from 2nd January to 2nd July

2013.

Tools worked upon:-

OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) is a tool that provides a comprehensive set of performance and health

metrics for monitoring of key environment components such as applications, application servers, databases, and

back-end components.

RMAN (Recovery Manager) is a backup and recovery manager for Oracle databases that provides database

backup, restore, and recovery capabilities addressing high availability and disaster recovery concerns.

Export/Import utilities are used to perform logical database backup and recovery.

Toad (Tool for Oracle Application Developers) is used for development and administration of various relational

databases using SQL.

GoldenGate is a tool for enabling the replication of data in heterogeneous data environments.

Processes worked on:-

Management of Database users.

Perform Index Rebuilding and Table Analyze and worked with senior DBA in performance tuning on other

issues.

Database Daily Check list are maintained by altering the tablespaces up to certain threshold.

Monitoring of Databases through EM alerts.

Database Designing - October 2012

-Worked upon a project that entailed building an Online Quiz Portal for competition especially for College Fests and

other Online Competitive Events. My role involved architecture of database and the database design. It involves the

creation of tables required, their linking with each other, controlling the consistency and integrity of the data in the

database, handling the final result and the ranking of each student.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENTS

Won the Bronze medal in the 12th National Jeet Kune-Do Championship.

Won 1st position in Basket Ball at School level.
