analytical, detail-oriented and interpersonal skills to improve products, reduce costs and lead times, delight customers,

help and mentor others. All the while engaging in new challenges and learning experiences.

SUMMARY of QUALIFICATIONS

Master degree in aerospace engineering and bachelor in Airframe & PowerPlant. 10+ years of recent experience

stress analysis in primary and secondary structure, including fatigue damage and tolerance analysis. Extensive

experience in structural analysis, research, leadership and coaching, problem-solving. Excellent in performing hand

calculations per company or industry standards e.g. Book1, Book2, Bruhn, Niu, Roark, Timoshenko etc. Proficient with

Excel, Mathcad, Femap, Patran, Nastran, Abqus, Hyper mesh. Thorough knowledge of load paths for composite and

metallic structures. Expert at analyzing and solving complex problems, such as durability/damage tolerance analyses,

structure stability analysis (lateral torsion stability), dynamic/static load analysis. My structural analysis works were

repeatedly honored by the Boeing Company via Pride@Boeing achievement awards. Self motivated learner and

professional, capable of working independently or as part of a team.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

Structure /Stress Analysis Engineer 02/2007- Present

The Boeing Company - Everett, WA

• Perform structural stress analyses on primary and secondary structure using classical hand and computer

technique to develop high strength/weight ratio structures and verify that structural integrity CFR 14 Part 25

requirements are met.

• Develop load path, initial sizing, strength check note documentation, production support and structural test

support.

• Prepare, document and review strength check note for type certification purpose. Create analytical and FEM

method sheets for the analysis to shorten analysis time and overall efficiency.

• Create formal analysis reports for FAA review (such as “747-8 STA396 door intrusion analysis”); generate

interface load coordinate sheets for internal/external customers; review company and vendor drawings, test plan,

and test result report. Perform root cause investigations through analysis.

• Coordinate with design engineering and related groups to optimize design solutions. Ensure new designed parts

or modified/repair components/assemblies compliance with Boeing standard and FAA requirements .

• Analyze structural parts as well as assembly associated with installation of these parts, analysis load cases

included static, stability, fatigue, vibration, and dynamic load cases;

• Coach less experienced or new engineer. Propose and carry out engineering lean activities (server lean…).

• Quick learner, self-motivated, and multi-tasker. Willing to work any shift.

Developed structural compliance analysis reports which are met aircraft development and certification

requirement.

Used ENOVIA and CATIA V5/V4 carried out design, use ELFINI perform analysis.

Structure Designer and Analyst 09/2005 – 04/2006

CAMAQ (Comité sectoriel de main-d'œuvre en aérospatiale ) – Montreal, QC

• Worked on aerospace project coordinated by CAMAQ, with the sponsors: Bombardier Aeronautics, Pratt & Whitney

Canada, and Bell Helicopter.

• Developed and demonstrated new pylon structure design.

• Wrote FAA/CAA compliant report.

• Developed pylon 3D layout using CATIA V5.

• Used FEM software (NASTRAN / PASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAB) to perform static and thermal analysis for primary

and secondary structure.

• Took part in Concept Review, Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR)
