Work Experience

2010- Present – Central Baptist Church – Pastor’s Wife and Part-time Secretary. I answer

phones, schedule events and activities of the church. I also correspond with

missionaries, manage all the office work of the church.

1995-2009 Macedonia World Baptist Missions

Missionary in Peru, South America.

As a missionary, I taught ladies, teen girls, and children. I conducted Parenting classes, I

developed two Bible College classes, I translated 17 books into Spanish for the people to study. I

also counseled women, teens, and children. I also did family planning methods, taught them how

to balance their budgets, how to save money, as well as teaching them the Bible.

1990-1996 off and on– Maplewood Family Practice in Winston Salem, NC.

I was a medical records coordinator in charge of patient’s medical records. I also did scheduling

of appointments, etc. I worked in Maplewood during the summers and during breaks when I was

in college. I worked there full time after I graduated from college.

1990-1994– Gardner Webb University– I worked as a telecommunications operator. I was a

receptionist and switchboard operator for the University. I also worked as a dispatcher for the

University Police

Volunteer Work

1992– I worked in a Shelter for Battered Women as an intern

1993– I worked as a short term intern with Children and Parenting Services in Shelby, NC

1993– I worked as an advocate for a group home in Morganton, NC

1994– I worked in a homeless shelter in Shelby, NC.
