EXPERIENCE
The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta USA Mechanical Project Engineer Jan ‘11-
PRESENT
Responsible for Continuous improvement and New product development projects of Commercial
refrigerators.
Mainly involved in Commercializing the Equipment for the global markets and solving engineering issues
related to the Production launch. I.e. Production delays, Quality and supply chain issues, Certification
processes, Color mismatch of Plastic-Metal parts/fading issues, Noise reduction of R134a and CO2
refrigeration systems, and Standardization of Coca-Cola measurement procedures.
Project 1/Production and Commercialization of Showcase type Commercial Coolers (Brazil): Monitor the
production units at the supplier’s facility and recommend process improvement steps to ramp up the
production. Perform quality inspection on the final products and recommend the required corrective actions
based on First article inspection method. Inspect different stages of assembly line to avoid any flaws for
betterment of the product. Interact with the Incoming material/components handling team to check upon the
quality and quantity of the required items. Interact with Bottlers, Coke marketing/equipment
commercialization team and supplier’s production and quality teams for scheduled production launch.
Project 2/Certification of Coca-Cola coolers: Manage the complete process of certifying the equipment in the
Coca-Cola engineering lab. Coordinate with the Business Unit and the Engineering team for the required
documents to be uploaded and the tests related issues.
Project 3/Noise reduction of Commercial refrigerators: Researched on Noise reduction techniques and their
applications for R134a and CO2 systems. Experimented different Sound dampening parts & materials using

DMAIC process and successfully achieved the Cost effective Low Noise solution based on Coca-Cola
specifications.
Project 4/ECR drawings preparation and ECN approval process: Analyze 3D drawings of cabinets and
refrigeration parts for First Article Review of production units. Manage the required drawings changes and
perform the design reviews according to the Coca-Cola reference design, Analyze the updated drawings,
Coordinate with the drafters in updating the changes, Manage ECR and ECN documentation and approval
process.
Project 5/Resolve Color mismatch issues and identify solutions for Color fading (China): Successfully found
out Color mismatch issues in China based supplier coolers and their potential reasons. Distinguished issues in
methods for Color fading and recommended further steps.
Project 6/ Standardization of Coca-Cola Noise measurement procedure: Recommended applicable ISO noise
standard and measurement procedure for Coca-Cola cold drink equipment. Managing correlation of
worldwide Coca-Cola labs for standardization.
Project 7/ Color match of newly produced equipment (Brazil): Managed step by step process of identifying
color subcontractors to match 100% color with Coca-Cola standardized color codes, verified & finalized the
samples according to Coke standards and successfully avoided color mismatch issues in production units.
Project 8/ Retrofitting of New refrigeration system (India): Audited suppliers’ facility to verify the Product
Quality according to the Design Specifications. Managed in implementing recommended Engineering
changes in Cold Drink equipment for Safety and Performance. Supported in retrofitting of 28K Cold Drink
equipment in the market with the necessary improvements.
