Position : QA Analyst

The Titanium Open Receivables Environment (ORE) is enterprise debt recovery software

used by debt collection agencies. Comprehensive Testing of Titanium was done to ensure

that all functional, system and performance requirements were met.

CBR, Credit Bureau Reporting is a client-server application module to verify the

delinquent account information reported to one or all credit bureaus. CBR also allows

administrative tasks like configuring credit bureau information, customizing reporting

rules, search account feature and flagging of accounts. Testing of CBR was done to verify

user permissions to perform specific tasks related to CBR and the functionality of the

credit bureau like creating, modifying, viewing, deleting and generating trial report.

Responsibilities:

Created Test Strategy, Test plan and Test Cases to cover overall functionality of the

Titanium application, a java-based client-server application.

Designed test cases, executed regression and negative test cases for these features –

Credit Bureau Reporting Module, Online Payment Processing, Overpayment Processing,

Payment Schedules, Partial Payments and Reporting.

Worked on Data Interface testing to make sure reporting to credit bureau followed

METRO 2 data format.

Developed SQL scripts to scrub data to remove sensitive data and to migrate data

between test environments. Optimized application SQL queries to improve performance.

Tested CRS check writing software that enables user to input consumer checking account

information and automatically generate a physical check.

Created Test Cases and tested the CRS Skip Trace Plus feature which includes Skip

Trace Batch and Skip Trace Online. This feature provides searches for demographic,

public record and bankruptcy information from various vendors.

Reviewed and used data model to understand data flow within CBR system and created

test scenarios for data validation.

Worked on back-end database testing by executing queries on ETL target database.

within TDHS (Texas Department of Human Services)

Responsibilites:

Reviewed Business Requirements (Texas-DHS Hand Book Policies) and developed

detailed test cases.

Developed and executed browser compatibility test cases for consistent behavior of the

application across the supported browsers.

Identified several usability issues that had major impact on the user experience and

suggested usability enhancements to the value of service provided by the tested

application.

Involved in regression testing for the Scheduling Track with other tracks like Data
