ACADEMIC PROJECTS Home automation using PC:

The entire automation project is controlled by a

microcontroller which is operated by a computer. All the

electrical devices in the home are connected to this

microcontroller through separate relays. Any electrical

devices can be switched ON or OFF by the PC. All the

status of devices can be viewed in the PC.

The total usage of voltage and amps can be calculated in

the PC. Also the history of when and how long the

AREAS OF devices are switched ON or OFF will be stored in the

INTEREST database. We can also operate the devices directly by

the microcontroller.

The main aspects are fire sensor and alarm, automatic

day light saving, complete control from a single place,

power saving, reliable, full status view of all

electrical devices.
