Indian national, Marine Engineer, 30 years of age, holding Class 2 CoC

(UK) with 12 years experience onboard ships including bulk cargo,

containers and oil tankers and offshore vessels. Extensive drydocking

experience, Commissioning, FEMA tests and other DP related technical fault

Project Employment:

Sea Star Ship Management: Acting Superintendent / Chief Engineer:

. Involved in the delivery of Tug Sea Dream. Acting Superintendent in the

project involving reactivation of the tug from laid up condition. Class

and Flag inspections and ensuring that a dispensation is obtained to sail

the vessel from Tuticorin to Mumbai for further repairs and special

survey drydocking.

. Sailed onboard for the voyage as Chief Engineer, tackling various engine

and electrical problems during the voyage. Delivered the vessel at Bombay

Port after clearing inspections for further repairs.

CURRENT EMPLOYMENT:

OSM (Sub agents for DOF, Norway and Ravenscroft, Miami, USA): Second

Engineer (April 2011 - Present)

( Sailed onboard UP Topazio, UP Diamante, UP Agua Marinha, UP Jasper,

Brazilian and Panama flag PSV's. Vessels have Azimuth/CPP propulsion, 2 Bow

thrusters. Ice classed DP1 and DP2 PSV vessels. Vessel employed on the oil

supply and Cargo run in Brazil and the North Sea. Experienced with major

overhauls of Azimuth thrusters, DP FEMA tests, Annual class and Charter

party inspections and surveys.

( Sailed onboard Olympic Canyon, DP2 ROV vessel (MSV) with Diesel electric

propulsion. Two frequency controlled Azimuth propellers (Aquamaster) aft,

and a retractable azipod and two tunnel thrusters forward.

( Sailed onboard Seismic Survey Vessel, MV Geowave Commander. Vsl having

LMF and Hamworthy Gun compressors, 3 Rexpellers, Diesel Electric propulsion

systems. Experienced with major overhaul on the LMF compressor, Starting

and control systems including troubleshooting on the Delta unit and

Frequency controller. Been to drydock with this vessel for major repairs on

Azimuth thrusters.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT:

POSH (S'pore): Second Engineer (December 2010 - March 2011)

( Sailed onboard MV Salvigilant, AHTS and Ocean going Tug, 12,000 bhp

Wartsilla Main Engines, with CPP. Vsl involved in ocean towing operations.

Experienced with successfully seeing the ship through ISM, ISPS audits and

Charter party surveys.

IRISL(Iran): Second Engineer: (July - November 2010)

( Sailed as Second Engineer onboard Geared Bulk Panamax vessel, MV

Golestan. Experienced with seeing the vessel through extensive hull repairs

and modifications during her Second Special Survey drydock.

SBS Marine (Aberdeen, UK): Second Engineer (April 2010 - June 2010)

( Sailed onboard Offshore Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Class DP1. (SBS

Torrent, SBS Nimbus, SBS Stratus).

Adel Ship Management (India): Second Engineer: (March 2010)

( Involved in the purchase and delivery voyage of 3500 bhp (60T Bollard

Pull) Harbour Tug boat ADEL-1, Involved in change of owners, Change of

Class (ABS to IRS) and Change of Flag (Singapore to Indian Flag) Surveys

and other related formalities. Experienced with Z-Peller systems, CPP and

FiFi systems.

American Eagle Tankers (Singapore): Third Engineer 2008-2009

( Sailed onboard Eagle Tucson, a Crude Oil Carrier, involved in STS

operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Member of the HSE Committee.
