South Seminole Hospital Longwood, FL 2010- 2013
Mental Health Technician in Behavioral Health Units. Responsibilities included but are not limited to,
performing vital signs, accu-checks, and drawing blood. I worked in the intensive level of care for
quite a while taking care of bed-ridden patient’s responding to codes, and starting oxygen. I received
much continuing education, some of it mandatory and some not. I transport patients to radiology and
ultrasound as needed for tests. I maintain a safe, clean and organized unit with excellent
communication skills with the nurses and doctors.
Arnold Palmer Hospital Teen Xpress Progra m, Orlando, FL 2008-2010
Medical Assistant. Responsibilities included but are not limited to, performing pre-physicals, giving
Immunizations, performing venipuncture, collecting lab specimens and running certain lab tests. I
enter the shots into the Florida Shot database as they are given. I am in charge of registering patients
when they arrive, making a chart if they don’t have one, have them complete the pa per work that is
required. I am in charge of the appointment line, making schedules on a daily basis. Complete quality
assurance projects when there is no school. Stocking the mobile unit and clinics as needed, watching

Clinic Assistant. I ran the clinic and administered medications, making sure all of the children were
compliant with vaccinations. Provided first aide as needed and took care of sick children, contacting

School Health Clerk, assisting the R.N. with school physicals, immunization clinics and screenings for
vision, hearing and BMI calculation. Worked with children at all age levels. Clinic coverage in 15
schools as needed. Accepted the position of Support Health Technician at Sebring Middle School
while still employed by the Health Department.

Specialist, Emergency Management. Job duties included, but not limited to preparedness, response,
and recovery to any natural or man-made disaster. Assisted coordinating two activations. Opened
special needs shelters during the threat of hurricanes. Worked with the Federal Emergency
Management Agency assisting in recovery efforts for residents that suffered from flooding and
tornadoes.
