Project Description: Electric motor driven roll feed system by using simple intermediate

gear train mechanism which feeding the sheet metal with certain interval of time.

3. Project in M.E.

Project Name: Comparison of Design and Analysis of Tube Sheet Thickness by Using UHX

code of ASME with TEMA Standards

Project Description: Designing the tube sheet thickness by using UHX code and TEMA

standard for optimised tube sheet thickness. Comparing the design methodology used for

designing the tube sheet by these standards. By Using ANSYS 13.0 the tube sheet thickness

of both heat exchanger models were mechanical analysed. From results of FEA it is shown

that FEA can be used as a designing tool for optimised tube sheet thickness.

Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities: Understanding and Designing the tube sheet by using the codes and

standards. Modeling and analysing the heat exchanger models by learning the FEA software

package ANSYS 13.0
