chemistry data as ASCII files. The files were transformed into SAS

datasets and uploaded to Oracle databases using SAS. SAS/AF frames were

created for easy upload. The programming activities were performed using

SUN workstations. The data were analyzed for compliance with EPA

protocols; the analysis programs were written in SAS. The programs were

peer reviewed using test datasets and the SOPs were documented. Any

discrepancies in data were cleared with the individual laboratories.
