Drafter/Welder

Design and draft mechanical and structural parts for furnaces that are used for creating fiber

glass, work from sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions, software is Autocad 2013, and

Autocad Inventor 2013, shipping and recieving of material and answer phones. Stick, TIG,

MIG, Torch and Plasma arc cutting. Some Mill, Lathe and small electrical work when required

also forklift operation.

08/2005 - 12/2009 Northwest Pipe, Adelanto, Ca

Welder

Fit and weld pipes of all diameters, elbows, flanges, manways, outlets, couplings, some pick

up welding plus trained and supervised temp to hires for overlap jobs. The welding process

was mainly wire (innershield) with some stick (shielded metal) when requested, plus torch

cutting and carbon air arc when needed. Usage of overhead cranes, forklifts and some

submerge arc. Performed Quality Control leak test on manways, outlets and flanges using soap

and water with gauges plus some magnetic particle testing.

06/2004 - 07/2005 Western Conveyor Systems, Adelanto, Ca

Welder

Heavy Fab. Build tunnels, hoppers, and catwalks using stick, MIG, Innershield arc process and

torch cutting. Build and assembled conveyors, adding belts, gear boxes and motors with hand

tools and welding processes as requested.
