Monitor equipment performance to provide input for long range planning and equipment replacement cycles.
Alternate responsible Engineer for the PHE Defect Tracking System and SurvivAir Air Pack, EOS, Resuscitators, Miscellaneous Protective Clothing, EBE Testing & Support Equip., EBE Breathing Air Auto Fill Station, Divator, ISI Air Pack, Airline Equipment, 5, 7, & 10 Minute ELSAs, ELSA Boxes, Life Support SCAPE Trailers and any additional Life Support systems currently maintained by the Life Support SME staff.
Engineering functions and maintenance of these systems includes all applicable test panels and tools, facility related equipment, Operations and Maintenance Instructions (OMI) and review of pertinent regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Duties:
Provide technical directions to technicians, engineers, inspectors, contractors, etc in the maintenance, repair, remanufacture, fabrication, troubleshooting, and operation of assigned mobile/fixed Life Support systems.
Work with Design Engineering to provide equipment operability throughout the equipment life cycle.
Provide statusing and coordination function with NASA and other contractors/customers as needed.
Status, monitors, report and control the operational use of assigned mobile/fixed Life Support systems ensuring that applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NASA regulations are followed.
Perform and coordinate other’s efforts in performing troubleshooting, failure analysis, corrective action (s), and report preparation for accidents or failures. Final summary and conclusions coordinated with NASA customer for concurrence.
Constantly review work processes for better ways to establish consistent quality and enhanced product maintenance
Provide Launch Readiness status for assigned equipment

QUALITY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (OCTOBER 1998 TO JANUARY 2007)
Member of the “core” group (QMS BOARD) that successfully accomplished certification of the SGS ISO 9000-2000 Quality Management System (QMS) which was successfully completed in May 2002 and was a contractual DRD.
Participated in the retention of ISO 9000-2000 certification audits by Registrar (NQA) and no major findings occurred from all subsequent audits.
Provided continuous improvement inputs of all ISO business processes by serving as a key member of the continual improvement team (CIT) with NASA & Air Force
Developed SGS policies and related processes to govern and/or improve overall quality management within JBOSC
Established and maintained policies and related processes for quality assurance inspection

Ensured that corrective/preventive actions were initiated for all applicable nonconformities and potential nonconformities to the SGS QMS and continually assessed the adequacy of the Corrective/Preventive action system to meet the intent of the applicable ISO standards.
Performed analysis/status of the CPAS for Senior/Mid management review
