By doing so it was known what and how much material was being used and
allowed the planners and purchasers a window as to what inventory was
needed for upcoming jobs.

. Grew a staff of 7 to a staff of 80. Trained machinists and patternmakers
as well as the foreman. Increased staffing requirements as the customer
base grew so that customers' requirements were met.
. Increased production by more than 50% by running 3 shifts 6 - 7 days a
week depending on customers 'needs.
. Invested in new machinery and equipment to increase the volume of tooling
flowing through the shop and increasing machining capabilities.
. Implemented ISO and Q1 policies and procedures. Enabled the company to
become a Tier One supplier to Ford Motor Company and attained many ISO
classifications over the years.
. Communicated on a daily bases with each shift and the immediate foremen,as well as, maintained constant contact with all of customers and
production engineers. Ensured staff were able to meet production and
tooling needs resulting in satisfied customers.
. Designed and built all prototype tools, gauges and fixtures for all of
the customers. Ranged from a simple new style of vent picker up to a
brand new design and the building of a new production core box. This
prototype core box resulted in 6 more orders as well as increased the
customer base and revenues.
