Maintenance Mechanic

Seeking a maintenance mechanic position utilizing both my analytical skills and hands-on experience to achieve successful results. My communication skills coupled with my ability to work with others help me to contribute to the workplace. Past experience includes equipment and facility maintenance and repair, troubleshooting and fabrication. I am familiar with safety procedures including lock-out tag-out, confined spaces, and hazardous materials. I have knowledge and hands-on experience with piping, pumps, valves, shafts, bearings, seals, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and a variety of other mechanical machine components. I also have experience with single and three phase electrical wiring, conduit, terminations and basic electrical controls. I am also proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics. I am skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. My ability to read and understand drawings, technical manuals, and SOPs will insure preventative maintenance and repairs will be done properly. I also have experience with machining, rigging practices and MIG welding. AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
