Project Details

MAIN PROJECT

Title : “A REMOTE MESURMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEM

FOR GREEN HOUSE BASED ON GSM SMS”

Team Size : Five

Description : A remote measurement and control system of large scale

greenhouse was developed based on GSM SMS. The whole system consists of a

central station and base stations. The central station is composed by a PC server

along with its application software, the GSM module, and the database system. The

base station consists of a microcontroller, sensors, the operation administer, and

GSM module. Modularization is adopted in the design of the system hardware; and

the software exploitation is realized by embedded operating system, all of which

make the system easy to be extended, maintained and transplanted. The remote

monitoring system can also realize remote real time data analyzing and processing.

MINI PROJECT

Title :”LAND ROVER ROBOT OPERATED BY CELL PHONE.”

Team Size : Four

Description : wireless controlled robots use RF circuits,which have the

drawbacks of limited working range, limited frequency range and limited control.

Use of a mobile phone for robotic control can overcome these limitations. It

provides the advantages of robust control, working range as large as the coverage

area of the service provider,no interference with other controllers and up to twelve

controls.Although the appearance and capabilities of robots vary vastly, all robots

share the features of a mechanical, movable structure under some form of control.

The control of robot involves three distinct phases: reception, processing and

action. Generally, the preceptors are sensors mounted on the robot, processing is

done by the on board microcontroller or processor, and the task (action) is

performed using motors or with some other actuators
